Cousins in Chicago {Vacation 2014}

After leaving the Great Wolf Lodge we stopped for lunch at Buffalo Phil's. It was a fun restaurant for the kids because a train delivered your food and drinks. The kids loved watching the train and playing with the toys the train delivered.

After lunch we drove to Chicago to see more family.

There is a lake in Troy and Candace's neighborhood and one morning the kids had a blast (and got pretty brave) swimming into the deep waters :)

After we wore them out they snuggled on the couch for a movie.

 

We also had another celebration for Nora's birthday. Aunt Candace made Nora's day with a pink cake and purple icing!

The kids had a blast and so did the adults. Kyle's one request was to visit his alma mater's campus (TIU), so Troy took him on a tour. 

My one request was eating Giordano's pizza and that too was fulfilled. 

The girl's also did some shopping and spent way too much at Goodwill :) It was a short visit, but so nice to hang out with the T. Schenk's!
