Sock Hop

Nora recently had her Kindergarten program, Let's Go To The Hop. This is hands down the most adorable school program I've ever seen! She loved getting all dolled up!

Here's a few snippets from the show. Nora is on the 3rd row to the left (right before you get to the boy section.

T-ball Time

This fall Kolter got to participate in his first t-ball season! He is in the 3-4 age group and it's very introductory. Also, it is very obvious he is left handed ;) It is one of the most hilarious things I've ever seen! As evidenced by the videos below.

He is aggressive and literally runs after every ball. And most of the plays involve him doing some form of sliding (most of it is for show ;)

Halloween 2017

This year Halloween was stress free because we picked out the costumes in August before the craziness of the fall commenced. Hopefully, that cycle will repeat itself!

Presenting our crew: a fierce dragon + a stunning fairy godmother + a tiny, but strong T-Rex + a super sweet strawberry

The Sunday before Halloween we went to a trunk-or-treat at a neighborhood church. The kids got to play games, get candy, have their face painted and bounce in the bounce houses. It was the perfect atmosphere for a low stress kids event.

On Halloween night we walked around the neighborhood for trick-or-treat. It was golden hour when we went outside so I had to snap a few pictures...some turned out better than others ;)

It was pretty chilly on Halloween night, but our little strawberry did a great job rolling around the neighborhood.

Cheer Camp

A few weeks ago Nora got to participate in the Broncho cheer camp. She was super excited for the day camp. She was a little more apprehensive about the 2 performances (round up for her peers and the half time show at the high school football game).

In the end she did great! She enjoyed it, but thankfully I don't think it's her passion ;)

Soccer Season

Another soccer season is in the books! Because of their ages Sawyer and Nora were on different teams this year. I helped coach Nora's 5&6 year old team. Nora was aggressive and hustled hard. She would typically score 1 or 2 goals a game. And of course she still rocked a skirt on the field!

Sawyer played in the 7&8 year old division. He really impressed us with his ball handling skills and his speed. He tends to over analyze the situation, but towards the end of the season his aggressiveness started to emerge. He also enjoyed playing goalie for the 1st time this season!

iPhone Unload {October 2017}

Pictures (top to bottom, L to R): this is how she rolls, so many decisions, when you have to pee, this is how he rolls, is the helmet for safety or just because he's cute?, she loves her some noodles, chilling at her siblings soccer game, Jubs and Evy chilling in the camping chairs, shin guards on ready for the game coach!

Pictures (top to bottom, L to R): when did Nora become a teenager?; when in Austin, TX for a 1 day work trip you find good tacos and eat cupcakes from an airstream trailor; Kolter cutie; in her happy place...making a mess; science museum fun during fall break; when your teacher paints your face to look like Superman your eyebrows will get dyed a nice shade of red and yellow; toothless Sawyer (currently he has 5 missing teeth ;)
