On July 17th we boarded a plane to Tampa, FL for our Schenk family vacation.
We spent the next week at a beach house with the entire Schenk clan in Clearwater, FL. We enjoyed the private pool at the house most of the week. The rest of our time was spent eating, searching for seashells on the beach, napping, and swimming in the ocean.
Sawyer experienced numerous firsts including a plane ride and seeing the ocean. He did well on the plane ride to FL, but on the return flight he was a little fussy until we got him asleep. It was a good trial run before I travel alone with him in a few days.

ReplyDeleteHow fun! We also went to Clearwater for my sister's wedding at the end of June. We took Eve with us and left the boys in Smith Center. What a great first vacation for our little ones!
