2 months

Kolter at your 2 month well check you were:

10 lbs. 0 oz. (5%)
21 1/2 inches (3%)
Head circumference 14.5 inches (3%)

The doctor checked you over and determined there were no more signs/sounds of a heart murmur.

This month you completely surpassed the newborn phase :( You are growing like a weed!

You wear 0-3 month clothes and size 1 diapers

This month you started smiling intentionally and at appropriate situations (not just because of gas). Mommy is always guaranteed a smile after you finish eating. Makes all those hours of nursing well worth it!

You eat every 3-4 hours during the day.

At the beginning of the month you were sleeping 2-4 hour stretches at night but as the weeks progressed your sleeping improved and now at night you consistently sleep a 6-7 hour stretch and then go back down for another 2-3 hours.

Your typical day is wake at 7 am, nurse, take a cat nap mid morning while we are out and about, nurse, take a long nap 3-4 hours, nurse, play, nurse, nurse, nurse, go to sleep about 9:30 pm.

You rolled over for the 1st time at 7 weeks. I didn't get to see it, but Daddy was giving you tummy time and you rolled from your tummy to your back and you were quite bewildered by the movement.

You have acquired a few nicknames: Squeaks (because you make all sorts of funny noises) and Kolter Koo (not really sure where this came from). Even Sawyer calls you by your nicknames.

You LOVE lights, fans, looking out the window, and the fabric map above the couch. If you are fussy any of those 4 things will calm you down.

As the weeks progressed this month you started losing interest in the swing and started loving the activity gym. You also started sitting in the Bumbo, but it's not your favorite.

In an attempt to get you to sleep longer at night we took you out of the swaddle and started putting you on your tummy (which is what your brother and sister preferred), but it didn't seem to help you. So we broke the swaddle blanket back out and that's when you started sleeping for 6-7 hour stretches.

You are a spit-up champion. After every feeding you burp and then out comes the spit-up. You and I constantly have spit-up all over our shirts.

Your eye color is still a mystery. They are currently dark gray/blue. When you wear blue they look blue. Some people are certain they will turn blue, but I'm not convinced. Your eyes are more blue than your siblings ever were, but I'm abstaining from making any more predictions.

You have 1 very prominent dimple and I'm pretty sure in the years to come we can blame all of mommy's weak discipline moments on that single feature. The cuteness seriously kills me!
