11 months

Sorry this post is super late...our living room was torn up and then we were in KS for 2 weeks.  Just now able to reach the chalkboard :)

Mommy measurements:
Weight: 18 lbs.
Height: 27.5 inches

And my baby wore  pig tails for the 1st time! Too cute!

Words: mama, dada, Bob, yeah, and in our attempts to teach you sign language you said "all done" once.  And sometimes you will say hi or bye when you wave.  Sawyer recently learned the "s" sound and now he is always acting like a snake.  You too have started saying "ssssssssss"  I don't think you will have the same "s" issue as your brother.

You wave and clap

You have 7 teeth

Your sleep has regressed this month.  You've slept through the night since about 2 months old, but now you wake up every night at 4 am for a little food then you go back to sleep.

You received more one-on-one time than ever this month and you LOVED it!

You play independently very well as long as momma is in the room.

Your eating has improved some.  You now eat quite a bit of table food.  However, you still refuse all drinking forms except nursing.  This month we have tried the bottle, sippy cup (with and without the stopper) and a regular glass with water, juice water, milk, breast milk, and chocolate milk.  We've tried multiple sippy cup brands (soft and hard spouts, straws, etc).  But to no avail...we will press on eventually you must take to one.

You are fearless and cautious all at the same time.  You climb everything with no thought of how you are going to get down.  We've had to take apart the slide because you climb up and down it all day then fall and hurt yourself.  However, you can be quite cautious.  For instance when we take a walk you stop at the cracks in the sidewalk, get into a bear crawl position and proceed to crawl over the cracks.

You fake sneeze.  It's so cute and you learned it from your brother.

  1. ugh... the sippy cup issue is something I'm not looking forward to. I've yet to have a kid take to any very quickly.

Can't believe how fast she's growing up! Love the pig-tails, how fun :)
