When asked how she would like to celebrate her birthday she was a little indecisive (this is actually a blessing because it made her pretty flexible when things didn't go as planned). She requested a rainbow party, then a My Little Pony party, then a Thundercat party and finally settled on a princess party with lots of pink and sparkles. After going back and forth between a Chuck E. Cheese party and a pool party she landed on a gymnastics party ;) Unfortunately, all the gymnastic gyms in our area were on break between summer and fall classes, so I had to break the bad news that a gym play time wasn't going to happen. Thankfully, I mentioned crafts and she was on board to take a few friends to Michael's for their weekly craft class and then lunch at Chick-fil-a. It was the perfect little party for our little Nora!
First we picked up 2 friends of her choice.
Then we went to Michael's to make a craft, a monster bookmark. The kids had a blast doing a new craft. I had to laugh as they were the only kids in the class and it was taught be an elderly Russian gentleman. I think he was a little intimidated ;)

Then coincidentally we had a date with friends at the water park in OKC. That was a great way to spend the day.
We were all so tuckered out by the end of the day we had ice cream for supper to wrap up her birthday!
