Family Vacation {Branson Part I}

To end our summer we spent a week with Kyle's family in Branson, MO. We had a terrific time with family, lots of fun, some relaxation and lots of food!

We love getting together and seeing all the cousins interacting. I love that my kids love spending time with their cousins even though they only see them a few times a year. Such wonderful memories!

We stayed at Jake and Audra's house and we tried to do something fun everyday while still finding time to relax and get in the much needed naps.

Our first day we spent the morning at Table Rock Lake (Moonshine Beach). The water was perfect and the kids had a blast. We also celebrated Breckyn's 20th birthday with some cake and frozen yogurt.

Lots of aunt and uncle time

Everyone is excited about Breckyn's cupcakes
then we had to get frozen yogurt
And to run off all that energy a little t-ball will do

Cousin love

Day 2 was HOT! So we decided a water activity was a must and we visited the water park. Not many pictures, because we were busy having water fun and the phones stayed away. Sawyer loved the big slides he could ride. Kolter just loved splashing around. Nora loved doing whatever everyone else was doing ;)

Our 3rd day in Missouri we kept it pretty low key because we were worn out from the water park. The girls went shopping at the outlets. The boys graciously watched the kids. That evening was parents night out and the grandparents watched the kids. The parents made a break for a fancy destination. We went to Top of the Rock and toured the grounds, ate at the restaurant and watched the sunset (complete with a bagpipe performance and a cannon blast). Then we went to play putt-putt.

notice the tiptoes ;)
record this as the 1st Schenk brother selfie ;)
And a selfie for the girls too
