3's Preschool {1st Semester}

Kolter has LOVED his 1st semester of preschool! He was initially put in the green class with Miss Jill (who we adore), but after a few weeks they needed to make a few changes so he was moved to the next class (purple bags with Miss Teresa). He has adapted so well and truly enjoys interacting with his friends and teachers. He gives them a hug each morning (MWF).

Here's a snippet of this artwork:

Kindergarten {1st Semester}

Nora's been rocking kindergarten! She has completed the sight words for kindergarten and has moved on to AR tests! Following the 1st 9 weeks she received Sensational Citizen!

She is also learning to play the violin in her weekly specials!

Mommy got to eat a special Christmas lunch with her!

We've always known Nora was a special little lady ;) but her teachers and classmates also recognize this fact since she received 4 Broncho brands this semester!

I'm one of the homeroom moms for Nora's class and I loved planning her Christmas party!

Here's a sampling of Nora's artwork:

Nora's party invite: your coming to the party. We're going to have at 3 ;)

Her turkey disguised as a queen

Nora insisted we make these cookies for Thanksgiving...we could only use her recipe ;)

This isn't Nora's recipe, but it is her good friends and it's too funny not to share ;)

Her stocking decorated with all the glitter, jewels and beads. She loves her sparkle!

1st Grade {1st Semester}

Sawyer has loved his 1st grade class! With that said he has had an interesting semester...first of all his teacher went on maternity leave 2 weeks after school started! But thankfully, he loved the long term substitute!

We hosted a fall farewell party to say good-bye to Mrs. Owen.

In December Sawyer received an art award chosen by his peers (his class voted on their favorite). He received a ribbon at round-up. We haven't seen the picture yet (it's being displayed in the principals office), but according to Sawyer it features aliens and blood ;)

I'm a homeroom mom in Sawyer's class and I've enjoyed planning his parties and being a part of his class!

Sawyer also received 2 Broncho brands this semester. He always tries and his best and that's all we can ask for!

Here's a sampling of some of his artwork and writing:

He usually excels at his weekly spelling tests.

He often comes home with sweet notes for someone.

This is his first book report. He chose Brickbeards Treasure.
