The Saturday before Easter we went to an Easter Egg hunt at a local park. Just like last year Sawyer loved the Easter bunny. Nora was quite scared and anytime the Easter bunny was within 100 feet she was clinging to my leg.
This egg hunt is always pretty packed but this year when they released the kids Sawyer shot out ahead of the pack. He picked up a couple eggs then kept running. Then he noticed one of his eggs had fallen out of his basket he lost it. Tears ensued and by the time he was calmed down his egg was gone as were most of the other ones :) He did get 2 more and Nora also grabbed two which is pretty impressive for her first egg hunt. It was all over within 30 seconds.
This particular egg hunt has coins in the eggs. Sawyer could not wait to get home and put them in his piggy bank. Nora loved shaking the eggs. And as we were walking back to the car Sawyer said, "Mom, that was fun!" So I would say it was a success :)
