On Sunday we celebrated the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ and we had quite the celebration!
The kids began their morning with Easter baskets. We transferred candy the grandparents sent into eggs. I made each of the kids a little something. I made Sawyer a cape and Nora a skirt. Then we rounded it out with a few things from the dollar section at Target. Mostly small things to take on our beach vacation this summer.

This is the best I could get of both them...looking pretty cute in their coordinating green outfits. Strangely enough when I pulled out Sawyer's clothes he was very excited about the bow tie and kept it on throughout church. Yippee for small victories!

We hosted Easter lunch for some of our favorite people. Troy, Candace and the kids plus several friends from our young married's group at church attended. I think there were 11 adults and 5 kids and LOTS of yummy food.
The rest of the afternoon and evening was spent napping and relaxing. It was kind of dreary and rainy out so we had to cancel the egg hunt. But the kids enjoyed playing with there new toys.
