Family Christmas #1

After our small family Christmas we made the LONG trek to Kansas. We split the trip into 2 days and the kids did very well as long as they had toys/movies and food. We were very happy to arrive in the promised land safely :) Once we arrived the Christmas celebrating continued. Our first event was a weekend at my Dad's house.

My dad and stepmom actually picked up the kids for some quality time alone with the grandparents. Sawyer got to do chores with Papa which included feeding cows, pigs and chickens. Nora had Grandma's undivided attention. Kyle and I arrived about 24 hours later to find 2 very happy kids and 2 very tired grandparents :)

We spent time relaxing, visiting with family and opening gifts.
