After our time in Salina we returned to the farm for some work and fun.
The 1st day back Kyle and Uncle Cliff brought the playground from the daycare to the farm. And of course that meant they also had to cut down a tree ;)
Sawyer watching the tree cutting from a safe distance |
the girls thought it was safer inside |
the redneck way to cut down a tree…in the tractor bucket |
everyone "helped" assemble the playground…not everyone was happy about it |
after all that work it was time for some play…namely attack Papa |
Kolter thought he was so funny stealing Papa's hat |
everyone got a ride in the Rhino with Papa |
They are riding Kansas style in the back of a truck on the way to a fishing hole. |
We also spent time in town preparing for the big garage sale!
Mema corralling the babies |
all ready to go (all of the stuff on the floor went outside the day of the sale) |
Trying to keep them busy when they can't mess with anything in the house |
a secret hiding place and Wild Kratts did the trick |
Kolter has already figured out who to go to for food |
such sweet laughter |
Kolter has also become quite affectionate he loves to give hugs and big kisses |
running around at the garage sale |
all ready for the sale to begin |
he loved the tub of balls |
Nora was quite the sales girl…she wanted everyone to buy cousin Breckyn's beautiful dresses |
Once everything was gone we jumped in the car and began our long journey home. We had such a great 2 weeks in Kansas. We played, relaxed, worked, helped and enjoyed time with lots of family and friends. We can't wait until our next visit!
