A few days after turning 10 months on January 30th, 2015 Kolter took his 1st steps. He was playing with Daddy and he let go of the bathtub and took 2-3 steps. Then he proceeded to do it several times.
Over the past month his walking continued to develop. He is now about 50/50 walking/crawling. He can walk across the room, turn in circles and so forth.
I'm not sure about his height and weight this month, but he wears mostly 12 month clothes and a size 3 diaper. Besides his chubby cheeks he is just a little peanut.
His 3rd and 4th teeth popped through his upper gums.
I don't even want to utter these words…but his sleeping has improved. He still wakes sometimes but if we insert the pacifier he is out again. He typically sleeps from 8:30 pm - 7:00 am
He loves a ball.
He started climbing the stairs to the slide, but he cries when he wants down (not quite brave enough to slide down by himself). However, when Sawyer or Nora help him down the slide he LOVES it!
He is eating table food at most meals. He is still eating baby food at lunch. He nurses 3 times a day (morning, noon and night).
His hair is getting longer and more full, but it's hard to tell because it's so light.
He started saying "mommommom" Which I'm totally counting :)
Another new, not so pleasant development…he started throwing tantrums. He will arch his back and start screaming when he isn't getting his way. Neither of the other 2 kids threw many tantrums (not to say they are perfect they disobey in plenty of other ways), so this is new territory. Should be an interesting battle of wills.
