This year I thought we would brave the act of carving pumpkins (instead of painting them like last year), but Sawyer insisted we paint the pumpkins. So one evening we pulled out the paint brushes, stripped down our clothes (well at least the kids) and covered all surfaces. The kids had a blast painting their pumpkins.

In typical Nora fashion she really got into this creative endeavor. Sawyer had been done for over 30 minutes and she was still perfecting her masterpiece.
Kolter didn't get to paint this year, but he enjoyed chewing on his pumpkin.
