In previous years we have always attended a community egg hunt and while the kids always had fun it was over in less than a minute. So, this year I searched for another egg hunting option and found a church nearby that hosted an egg hunt.
Actually it was more of an Easter Extravaganza than an egg hunt. The kids were separated into age groups then they went through 4 stations: story time, craft time, lunch, egg hunt and a picture with the Easter bunny.
It was a little crowded, but the kids had a lot of fun and I like that it was separated by age so the little ones had a chance to get some eggs. Also, it was perfect weather all weekend making all the egg hunting very enjoyable!
Here are a few pictures of the fun:

Sawyer hugging the Easter bunny (I know it looks like he is about to bolt but I promise it's a hug). He LOVES any kind of dressed up character and he couldn't wait to sit on the Easter bunny's lap. Nora is not pictured because she is the opposite…she is TERRIFIED of any dressed up character (bunny, Santa, Pioneer, etc). She was not going to sit on that things lap :)
