My parents arrived from CO the day Kolter and I were released from the hospital and it was a God send! They spent the week cuddling Kolter and keeping the big kids occupied.
They took the kids to the zoo, Chick-fil-a, the library, school, the park, on bike rides and to the trampoline facility. The kids loved all the fun activities and I enjoyed having time alone learning the rhythms of Kolter and trying to recover.
Not to mention I didn't wash one dish while they were here :)
It was a glorious blessing to have such wonderful help.
Since I wasn't involved in most of the activities I didn't get a lot of pictures, but here are a few from the week.
There were a few warm, sunny days so Kolter had his 1st walk

The whole gang on a walk |

Practicing his batting skills |

Sawyer showing Papa how the trampolines work |

Nora got hurt on the trampolines so Nana entertained her |

And of course there was lots of Kolter snuggle time |
Praise God for grandparent visits! Glad you're recovering and enjoying snuggles. Keep on snugglin' and enjoying the blessed (and exhausting) newborn stage!
ReplyDeleteIt is so great when the grandparents come to visit, especially after a new baby!! I hope you are recovering well. Kolter is so adorable!
