Announcement

We didn't do a lot of big announcements with the 3rd baby. In fact we really only Skyped/talked on the phone with immediate family. We also told our church group since it was starting to become obvious (at least to me). The rest of the announcement was made on Facebook.

Me: Nora, who's the baby?
Nora: ME!!!!
Me: Sawyer, who's the baby?
Sawyer: point to my belly

Nora still insists she is the baby and she's too cute to break her heart at this point...I guess in 5 months she'll get the picture. Sawyer does have a limited understanding of what's going on. He prays for the baby in mommy's belly and sometimes he will talk to it. One day he even looked at my belly button and declared the baby was stuck :) We have a Sesame Street video that he watches quite often that features Baby Bear and his family bringing home a new baby and he has connected some of that storyline with our little baby.

Since Sawyer and Nora have such different personalities I predict Sawyer will react much like he did with Nora. Which was give the baby some love, but ignore them for the most part because they can't run and jump around with him. Nora who loves to mother and boss around younger children will be VERY loving and once the baby can move I'm sure she will also be bossy. Time will tell if my predictions are true.
